Welcome the cozy vibes of winter with this delicious and aromatic Spiced Pumpkin Latte. Crafted with homemade pumpkin puree and infused with warm spices, this latte is an ideal treat to warm you up. Ingredients
π 40 gms Pumpkin Puree
π₯ 280 ml Full Fat Milk
β 2-3 tbsp Instant Coffee Powder
π° Pinch of Nutmeg
πΏ 1/3 tsp Dry Ginger Powder
πΎ 3-4 Cloves
πΏ 1/2 inch Cinnamon Stick
π 1/2 Vanilla Bean
π§ Water
πΏ Spice Powder
Instructions
1- Prepare the Pumpkin Puree:
- Clean and peel the pumpkin, remove seeds, and chop it into cubes.
- In a saucepan, add water and the chopped pumpkin. Boil until tender.
- Drain and mash the pumpkin until smooth, creating a puree.
2- Make the Coffee Decoction:
- Boil a cup of water in a saucepan.
- Add 2-3 tablespoons of your preferred instant coffee powder to the boiling water.
- Allow it to brew and then strain out the coffee to get a rich decoction.
3- Infuse Spices with Coffee Syrup:
- In a small saucepan, combine nutmeg, dry ginger powder, cloves, cinnamon stick, and split vanilla bean with a small amount of water.
- Heat the mixture gently to extract the spice flavors.
- Add this spiced syrup to the coffee decoction and stir well.
4- Prepare the Milk:
- Warm the full fat milk in a separate saucepan or using a milk frother until itβs steaming.
5- Assemble the Latte:
- In a large mug, combine 40 grams of pumpkin puree with the spiced coffee decoction.
- Pour the steamed milk over the mixture, stirring to combine.
- Optional: Top with a dash of spice powder for garnish.
