🍋 1/2 lemon juiced
🌺 Dried hibiscus tea concentrated
💧 Water sufficient for brewing coffee and tea
🍬 1 spoonful brown sugar
🧊 Ice cubes sufficient for chilling and serving
Instructions
1- Heat Water:
- Begin by heating water to 82-84°C using a digital gooseneck kettle.
2- Brew Coffee:
- Open the Kipsy Coffee pour-over pack and anchor it over a clear glass mug.
- Slowly pour the heated water over the coffee grounds to brew.
3- Juice Lemon:
- Juice half a lemon by squeezing it through a small mesh strainer into a copper pitcher.
- Ensure no seeds make it through.
4- Prepare Hibiscus Tea:
- Add dried hibiscus tea to the Masterclass French press.
- Pour hot water from the kettle into the French press, allowing the hibiscus tea to steep.
- Once brewed, press the plunger to concentrate the tea.
5- Combine Ingredients:
- Fill a large mason jar with ice cubes.
- Add the strained lemon juice and one spoonful of brown sugar to the jar.
6- Mix Hibiscus and Coffee:
- Pour the concentrated hibiscus tea into the mason jar followed by the brewed coffee.
7- Shake to Mix:
- Securely close the mason jar with its lid.
- Shake vigorously to ensure thorough mixing and chilling of the beverage.
8- Serve:
- Pour the blended Hibiscus Mazagran into a faceted serving glass filled with ice.
