Instructions
1- Prepare the Coffee:
- Place a cloth coffee filter over a metal pot or jug.
- Add 3 tablespoons of OLIANG POWDER MIXED into the filter.
2- Brew the Coffee:
- Carefully pour 3/4 cup of hot water over the coffee powder in the filter, ensuring all grounds are saturated.
- Gently press the coffee grounds using a spoon to aid extraction.
3- Steep:
- Allow the coffee to steep for 3-5 minutes to develop a rich flavor.
4- Prepare Sweeteners:
- In a small mixing glass, combine 2 tablespoons of LONGEVITY BRAND sweetened condensed milk, a couple of teaspoons of sugar, and a pinch of salt.
5- Combine & Mix:
- Once steeping is complete, remove the filter and pour the brewed coffee into the mixing glass with sweeteners.
- Stir meticulously until the ingredients dissolve.
6- Taste Test:
- Sample the mixture to ensure it's slightly too strong and sweet, anticipating dilution from the ice.
- Adjust sugar or salt as desired.
7- Add Ice:
- Fill a tall serving glass entirely with ice cubes.
8- Pour Over Ice:
- If preferred, transfer the mixture back into the metal pot/jug for easier handling.
- Carefully pour the coffee mixture over the ice in the tall serving glass.
9- Add Evaporated Milk:
- Generously drizzle Carnation evaporated milk over the iced coffee to achieve a layered effect.
