Step 2: Keep It Fresh: Once you've achieved a vacuum inside Atmos, watch the vacuum lock indicator drop to reveal a green ring. The vacuum is now locked to prevent oxidation and extend the shelf life of your coffee and other pantry items. The vacuum lock indicator is designed to drop once an interior pressure of 0.7 atmosphere has been achieved. More air can still be vacuumed out of Atmos after the indicator has dropped, but you will start to feel more resistance as you twist the lid.

Step 3: Press To Release: When the contents are calling your name, press the button located on the center of the top of the lid to unlock and bring the air pressure back to normal. You should hear a whooshing noise as the pressure equalizes. Once the pressure is back to normal, just pull the lid off of the top of Atmos to access what's inside.
