A Brazilian Expresso with a Great Piece of Pie!

Brazil has good coffee, and so far I have really only enjoyed the "kurig-type" of coffee that I never drink in the US. Its great here though, nothing to complain about.
But I wanted to visit a real coffee shop in Rio, so I hit up the local one in Grajau near @xvlad's house. A little place called Thomes.
I didn't know how to order anything in Portuguese but the women there were very kind to me.
It was served with a wafer, a tiny spoon, and a tiny little glass of sparkling water that is supposed to be to cleanse your pallete before each sip of the sacred bean juice. My hands were almost too big to pic these items up, I was alice in wonderland.
I also ordered this:
But it was amazing.
YUM... but really not anything TOO special about it. tastes like a familiar expresso. I'm not sure what the muito authentic brazilian coffee is but maybe there isn't one.
Made by a real expresso machine!
I wanted another piece of pie but we had to keep moving because we had a bunch of groceries from next door we had to get home, even though it was nice and air conditioned inside.
