Odette: patisserie et café [ESP-ENG]

¡Saludos gente! El día de hoy vengo a comentarles de un café que fuimos a probar unos amigos y yo esta semana, en el que aprovechamos de celebrar el Día del Médico Venezolano que fue el 10 de marzo.

Les cuento que me encanta el Centro Comercial La Vela, porque cada vez que voy hay un café nuevo por conocer, ofrecen versiones de ingredientes muy distintos y los cafés son bastante diferentes uno de otros.

En esta oportunidad, mi mejor amiga me comentó de este café llamado Odette: Patisserie et café, que casualmente es de un colega quien se fue a hacer un curso de barista y pastelería a Francia en compañía de su pareja y abrió este local, mi amiga y yo solo dijimos: ¡Nuestro sueño hecho realidad! 🥹

Sí, como lo leen, ahí estábamos todos Celebrando el día del médico, pero deseando todos tener un lugar de café como ese y dejar esta profesión de lado 🫠 ¿Qué cosas no? Esta es la realidad de ejercer esta profesión en este país.

El lugar estaba muy lindo, muy acogedor, tenían hasta plantas grandes reales, de verdad no sé como hicieron para hacernos sentir que estábamos dentro de un local, cuando todo estaba abierto y creado en medio de uno de los pasillos del centro comercial.

La estructura del lugar es muy sencilla, pero bonita, con una mezcla de urbanidad y toques de hogar, con vigas de metal, colores grises, vidrio y mucho verde. Es como un mini jardín de ensueño adornado por unas lámparas espectaculares en medio de muchas tiendas, para que, cuando salgas cansado de comprar, te sientes a descansar tomándote un rico café, acompañado de algo dulce o salado.

Con respecto al café y el postre que elegí, les comento que ahora entiendo por qué ¡sí! Es diferente, cuando te hace un café alguien que hizo un curso en la ciudad del pan y el café, por eso tuve una sola palabra ¡WOW! Sabía a gloria ese Latte ¡de verdad que sí! Valió cada uno de los 3 $ que costaba.

El postre era un Tiramisú de frutos rojos, una sola palabra para él también ¡Etéreo!, que suave y qué sabor a chocolate tan ¡espectacular! El amargo y el dulce estaban en su punto, el chocolate con que rodeaban todo era nada menos que ¡mágico! No sé como describírselos amigos, solo sé que deben ir a probarlo ¡Se los juro!, eso sí, me pareció un poco costoso para el tamaño de la porción, 7 $ fue el costo.

Estaba tan distraída pensando en que quiero alcanzar este objetivo de tener una cafetería en mi vida, que se me olvidó pedir el café con leche deslactosada 🫠, tal vez por eso sabía mejor, no lo sé, pero de verdad ¡estaba increíble!, los días siguientes sufrí por eso, pero ¡que tanto! Un día más de sufrimiento en este mundo no me iba a matar 😅.

Tenían una promoción de unas empanadas chilenas con jugo de piña o café en 6 $ y me encantó que ofrecieran este tipo de cosas, porque no he visto promociones en los otros cafés que hemos visitado en la vela, según uno de mis amigos, que pidió la promoción, la empanada estaba súper.

Tenían otra promoción de sandwich al grill con café o jugo de piña, también se veían bien, pero ya ven que siempre iré por lo dulce y no me arrepiento para nada. Mi mejor amiga prefirió un agua saborizada, no sé qué me pasó que no le tomé una foto, pero se veía demasiado linda, tenía hasta florecitas comestibles adentro y el olor era espectacular, estaba ¡Perfecta! Fue lo que me dijo y le creo.

Y así amigos, esta semana conocimos otro café en la isla, sorry que las fotos no quedaron tan bien y me faltaron muchas por tomar, prometí ir otro día y sí dedicarme bien a tomar las fotografías, la verdad es que me dio un poco de pena con tantos compañeros de trabajo ahí, no me acostumbro aún, que les puedo decir.

Greetings people! Today I come to tell you about a coffee that some friends and I went to try this week, in which we took the opportunity to celebrate the Venezuelan Doctor's Day which was on March 10th.

I tell you that I love the Centro Comercial La Vela, because every time I go there is a new coffee to try, they offer versions with very different ingredients and the coffees are quite different one from the other.

In this opportunity, my best friend told me about this café called Odette: Patisserie et café, which coincidentally belongs to a colleague who went to France with his partner to do a barista and pastry course and opened this place, my friend and I just said: Our dream come true! 🥹 🥹.

Yes, as you read it, there we were all celebrating the doctor's day, but wishing we all had a coffee place like that and put this profession aside 🥹 What a thing isn't it? This is the reality of practicing this profession in this country.

The place was very nice, very cozy, they even had real big plants, I really don't know how they did to make us feel that we were inside a local, when everything was open and created in the middle of one of the aisles of the mall.

The structure of the place is very simple, but beautiful, with a mix of urbanity and touches of home, with metal beams, gray colors, glass and lots of green. It is like a mini dream garden adorned by spectacular lamps in the middle of many stores, so that when you get tired of shopping, you can sit down and relax with a delicious coffee, accompanied by something sweet or savory.

Regarding the coffee and dessert I chose, I can tell you that now I understand why, yes! It is different when a coffee is made by someone who took a course in the city of bread and coffee, that's why I had only one word: WOW! It tasted like glory that Latte it really did!

The dessert was a Tiramisu of red fruits, just one word for it too, Ethereal, how smooth and what a spectacular chocolate flavor! The bitter and sweet were on point, the chocolate surrounding it all was nothing short of magical! I don't know how to describe it to you folks, I just know you must go try it I swear!

I was so distracted thinking that I want to achieve this goal of having a coffee shop in my life, that I forgot to order the coffee with lactose free milk 🫠, maybe that's why it tasted better, I don't know, but it really was amazing, the following days I suffered for that, but what a lot! One more day of suffering in this world wasn't going to kill me 😅.

They had a promotion of Chilean empanadas with pineapple juice or coffee for $6 and I loved that they offered this kind of thing, because I have not seen promotions in the other cafes we have visited in the sail, according to one of my friends, who asked for the promotion, the empanada was super.

They had another promotion of grilled sandwich with coffee or pineapple juice, they also looked good, but you see I will always go for the sweet stuff and I don't regret it at all. My best friend preferred a flavored water, I don't know what happened to me that I didn't take a picture, but it looked too pretty, it even had little edible flowers inside and the smell was spectacular, it was perfect! That's what she told me and I believe her.

And so friends, this week we met another cafe on the island, sorry that the photos were not so good and I missed many to take, I promised to go another day and dedicate myself to take the pictures, the truth is that I was a little embarrassed with so many coworkers there, I'm not used to it yet, what can I tell you.
