Instructions
1- Grind the Coffee:
- Use the Comandante grinder to grind 7 grams of freshly roasted coffee beans into a fine powder.
2- Prepare the Cezve:
- Set your cezve on a digital scale.
- Add the ground coffee using the copper funnel.
3- Add Water:
- Carefully pour 70 grams of 60°C water into the cezve.
- Ensure coffee grounds are thoroughly saturated.
4- Stir Gently:
- Stir the mixture gently with the wooden stick 10-15 times.
- Ensure even blending of coffee and water.
5- Commence Brewing:
- Place the cezve on the STC stand with burner.
- Activate your timer.
6- Monitor and Adjust:
- Watch as the foam rises.
- At about 1 minute in, carefully adjust the heat to manage the temperature increase.
- Aim for 92-94°C without boiling.
7- Serve:
- As the foam reaches the cezve rim, remove from heat.
- Pour your coffee into a cup held at an angle, ensuring a good portion of foam accompanies the pour.
8- Rest and Enjoy:
- Let the coffee sit for 2-4 minutes to allow the grounds to settle.
- Cool to the perfect drinking temperature.
